Kindly Closet is for women in need, by women who care.
There are various needs in life, but at times we may find ourselves lacking the resources needed to meet the needs. Most of us have experienced this at one point or another. It's simply a hard season of life, and like us, Deidre, owner of Kindly, is no stranger to those tough seasons.
A common need that can arise is the need for proper business attire to wear to a job interview or even a hired position that has a specific dress code. With this in mind, Deidre was moved with compassion to do something special that would help lighten the burden of potential clothing needs among ladies in our community. Her vision was to host a free event in a non-judgmental atmosphere that would provide an opportunity for ladies to build their wardrobe, connect with women who care, receive employment resources, and simply feel loved. Thus, the Kindly Closet was born!

Love looks like something, and that’s exactly what we saw at the event—love in action!
Deidre and the Kindly team put out a call to action to local ladies to donate any gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, or gifts of love they felt led to give, the response was amazing! Donations poured in, yielding a beautiful collection of gently used items and some new items. The kindness of our community allowed ladies to connect in a special way.
Among the shopping fun was a food truck, live music, free make-up and fashion resources, a guest speaker, and much more. It was certainly a special day and one we wish to repeat again and again!
